Meet the full consortium
Endeavour is the culmination of British innovation to deliver autonomous services. Endeavour will change the future of city transport, powered by a world-leading teams.
Addison Lee group
Addison Lee Group will use Endeavour to develop new mobility solutions to meet changing customer and environmental needs and to enter the forecast £1.6bn/year market for new passenger services in London by 2022. Endeavour will refine and strive to achieve 'service readiness' across areas including: profitability, customer satisfaction, vehicle utilisation, service fulfilment and city impact. When all criteria has been met, the Addison Lee Group will roll out full autonomous vehicle services in London, UK cities and internationally.
Endeavour will enable real-life validation of Oxbotica's autonomy system (Selenium) and its cloud-based mission control system (Caesium) that have been developed through DRIVEN and SHIFT CCAV projects. Through Endeavour, Oxbotica will demonstrate performance of a coordinated commercial MaaS fleet, enabling Oxbotica to commercialise its investment and grow its AV technology offering in the UK as well as overseas. Oxbotica's business model is in licensing IP for autonomy, and natural partners include OEMs and service operators.
Endeavour enables DG Cities to better understand travel needs of the growing population and how AV ride-share can address urban transport issues. DG Cities also seeks to understand interdependencies between the design of the built environment, the vehicle and the service. Endeavour will inform London's spatial and transport policies and recommendations on how AV ride-share should be deployed to maximise city benefits.
Immense developed best-in-class CAV service simulation capability through TALON and MERGE Greenwich. The IMSim platform will help Endeavour design and evaluate effective AV ride-sharing services across London, then test these services in other geographies worldwide. Immense seeks to embed the use of its simulation as a key element for Cities designing or permitting new mobility services, and for commercial operators to rapidly test and enhance their offer in a new geography. Endeavour will refine Immense's 'Simulation-as-a-Service' business model and help develop effective partnerships.
Playing a key part in groundbreaking UK government supported Connected and Autonomous Vehicle (CAV) projects, Nominet is developing and applying cyber security tools, technologies and expertise to CAVs and digital infrastructure which are vital to the future development of this sector. Nominet is driven by a commitment to use technology to improve connectivity, security and inclusivity online.
